Onion Bell Pepper Pakoras



Ingredients:

Besan flour- 2 cups
Rice flour- 2 tbsp
Baking soda (optional)- 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder- 1 tbsp
Green chilies cut- 2
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Melted butter/ Ghee/Oil- 2 tbsp
onion and bell peppers- sliced thin- 2 cups
Water- 1/4 cup
Oil to fry
Salt to taste

Method:
In a bowl add besan flour,rice flour, baking soda, kashmiri chili powder, green chilies,salt, turmeric.garam masala. Mix well. Now add the melted butter/ghee/oil. Again, mix well. Now add the sliced onions and bell peppers and add water little by little. Just add water to hold everything well. The mix should be thick.
Heat the oil in a kadai to fry. Add the mix by hand or a spoon in the heated oil and fry till golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney/Tomato ketchup. This can be kept crispy for a day or two in an airtight container.
